Almost...
I'm keeping Pete company as he improves some of the miscellaneous areas throughout the house tonight. We'll see who finishes first... Apparently, I just lost (1:55am) so now my challenge is to see if I can publish before 2:15.

Shucks! I almost made it.
Everything looks so amazing...I can't believe it's the same house! That is a lot of hard work. What a great idea to hang pictures of the travels too. Hope to see you guys soon & Happy Birthday Pete :-) Come on baby Schafer...there are a lot of people just waiting to meet you :-)
ReplyDeleteTake care, Bonnie
Thanks Bonnie. Let us know when you are next in the Canton area. We'll be in C-bus in early August for a wedding but might be able to squeeze in a quick visit.
DeleteOh, it looks good! Give the babe another week to cook! I think that July 4th would be an awesome birthday!
ReplyDelete-SEACW
More days like today and we'll certainly be cooking!
DeleteAndrew was admiring your handiwork over his coffee this morning. The new paint and hardware do a world of good in the kitchen.
ReplyDeleteExcited about finishing it up with the counter tops and sink. Should take two to three weeks from template to installation. We'll see whether baby or counter tops come first.
DeleteHey Elise -- Amazing what a little color can do to change the whole feel of a room! I am particularly drawn to the blue and green bedrooms as they remind me of peaceful places....
ReplyDeleteThanks for the updates!
I think the baby coming on Pete's birthday could be cool...although July 4th sounds fun as well...let us know what the Baby decides ;-)
Stay well!
Blessings, Cindee
Baby decided not to come on Pete's birthday but has a chance of totally crashing his Sundaes on Sunday party tomorrow ;-)
DeletePeaceful's a good thing with three little ones. Hopefully the new babe will catch on to the vibes.
It looks phenomenal, Elise & Pete! I love the kitchen palette! I look forward to seeing it all in person.
ReplyDeleteDon't rush Baby. He doesn't want to come on Daddy's birthday. Who likes to share?! He isn't due until noon to three in the afternoon tomorrow, June 27th. (The Feast of the Sacred Heart, and some time during the three hours of his suffering.) He thinks you should name him something with Matthew or Mark relation because you already have two Gospel writers with the Luke Francis and Augustine John. Maybe Christopher Mark? Ignatius Mark? Although "Iggy" might not fly. "Nate" could work as a short though!
Good luck, my dear sister in Christ! I just reread my own blog about my last delivery, so I am not in any hurry to be in your position. Not yet anyways ;)
Oh, and if he decides to wait until Sunday, then i vote Paul Matthew :)
ReplyDeleteToo many options...names are set and the only factor that makes a difference at this point is boy or girl. I like your rationale though.
DeleteThree hours of suffering sounds like a good deal to me in this case. God's will be done.
Awesome!
ReplyDeleteThanks Joni. Hope you and the family are well.
DeleteHey the house looks great! You guys have obviously worked very hard on it. I've got to ask though... are those real colour names? :-) Come on #3, now even the house is ready for you. +Pax+
ReplyDeleteAndrew ,
DeleteThe color names are half the fun and when there was a close competition the better name won out.
